STATEMENT FROM JOEY DE VENECIA III
I have to take exception with a story that came out in one of the national broadsheets today questioning my commitment as a senatorial candidate of the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino.
With all due respect to the Manila Standard Today, nothing could be further from the truth.
Let me say in no uncertain terms that I am totally committed to the party.
While all the major political parties have their respective “guest candidates,” I am a card-carrying member of the party led by former President Joseph Estrada. I joined the party for the long haul and I abhor political butterflies.
As the spokesperson of President Estrada pointed out, I have been religiously attending all official functions of the party. I try to attend every sortie and inform party officials if I am unable to do so.
The party’s fight to uplift the masses is my fight.
I am proud to be a loyal member of the party and have every intention of staying with the Pwerse ng Masang Pilipino for many, many years to come.
