Joey de Venecia III (ZTE-NBN whistle blower) delivers a talk during the 6th anniversary of the Muntinlupa Renewal Home where he extolled the value of family in the successful treatment of addiction.

De Venecia openly talked about his own addiction when he was a young man and shared how his parents helped him cope during one of the most trying times in his life.

Muntinlupa Renewal Home (MRH) is a government-owned treatment center for drugs and alcohol. It uses the 12-step program in bringing about rehabilitation and also helps residents get re-integrated to society. It is manned by volunteers who formerly suffered substance abuse.

De Venecia is a staunch advocate of rehabilitation which includes involvements in Narcotics Anonymous, New Beginnings and Muntinlupa Renewal Home.
